Stay Rental Terms
We want your stay in Chania to feel easy, comfortable and stress-free. The following terms help protect both guests and property while keeping the experience simple and transparent.
1. Check-in / Check-out
- Check-in: after 15:00
- Check-out: until 11:00
- Early check-in or late check-out may be possible upon availability.
2. Reservation & Payment
- A reservation is confirmed once payment or agreed deposit has been received.
- Remaining balance, if applicable, must be completed before or during check-in.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before arrival.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in may be charged partially or fully depending on the reservation terms.
- In case of major travel disruptions (flight cancellations etc.), we always try to offer flexibility whenever possible.
4. Security Hold
A refundable security hold of €250 may be pre-authorized on the guest's card before check-in. This is not a charge and is automatically released after checkout if no damages or extraordinary cleaning requirements occur.
5. Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:
- Respect the property and neighbors
- Avoid excessive noise, especially during quiet hours
- Leave the apartment in reasonable condition
- Report any accidental damage promptly
6. Smoking & Parties
- Smoking inside the apartment is not allowed.
- Parties, events or unauthorized gatherings are prohibited unless agreed in writing.
7. Damages
Guests are responsible for damages caused during their stay beyond normal use. Minor wear from normal holiday use is naturally understood and accepted.
8. Liability
- The property owner is not responsible for loss of personal belongings, valuables or items left unattended.
- Guests use the property and any facilities at their own responsibility.
9. Force Majeure
We are not liable for circumstances beyond our control including:
- extreme weather
- natural events
- ferry or flight cancellations
- power/network outages
- governmental restrictions
10. Our Philosophy
We believe hospitality in Crete should feel personal, honest and welcoming. If any issue appears during your stay, we encourage direct communication so we can solve it quickly and fairly.
